In the region of Vincentina's Coast, the strong winds and the flat waters of Martinhal, Tonel and Meia Praia beaches are ideal to practice windsurfing in the Summer time. Regarded as a mixture of surfing and sailing, this sport requires knowledge of the winds and tides, as these elements are the ones that drive the board.
